Good, down-to-earth cuisine, brisk, friendly service. The Corona requirements are implemented strictly but also very briskly.

Delicious food and very worried hosts when it comes to compliance with the hygiene rules.

Due to its location, it is a suitable place as a start and finish for scenic MTB tours. Cakes or Bavarian delicacies in the nice beer garden help to recharge your batteries quickly before you start your journey home.

Nicely located hotel with a great beer garden, however, the service here is really the last and the customer is under no circumstances king! We had a few simple inquiries but were not given any flexibility - which one could have expected for the high price without any comfort! Certainly a nice place for a simple meal but due to the lack of hospitality we will definitely not be back.

The corona measures of the Bavarian government can be applied very differently, but here the whole thing is taken ad absurdum! The guests across groups have to wait in the building to get a seat in the guest garden. This is not how you will stop Corona. The food was okay and the staff friendly. Only the toilets weren't clean when we went to them, hence the second star deduction.

Highly recommended inn for hikers and cyclists. With single room to warehouse. Very nicely located on the Rissbach. Wonderful beer garden with very friendly wait staff. I have a farm duck and a Maultasche. Both delicious. For me it was a nice starting point for a circular hike. Bus from Lenggries stops in front of the door. Very good implementation of the corona rules. Respect.

My wife and I spent two weeks vacation at the Gasthof Post in Vorderriß and were very satisfied! Beautiful holiday apartment furnished in a wood look and even with a tiled stove. Of course, we didn't need the latter at the beginning of September. Owners and employees are very friendly! The menu in the inn is not that big, but it tastes delicious. Nice big beer garden. Since the inn is located at a local junction and on the way to the popular tourist destination “Engalm”, there is quite a lot of traffic during the day. But you only notice that when you are not out and about yourself. The location is ideal for trips to the Karwendel, Achensee or Walchensee, Mittenwald, Garmisch, Lenggries or Bad Tölz. However, you need a car and cover a few kilometers. There is only one hiking trail starting directly from the inn, but there are more than enough tours in the area for several hiking holidays. The next larger town is Lenggries, a good 20 km away. All in all we were very satisfied - therefore 5 stars!

Got a very tasty freshly caught fish here today👍 Own breeding with fresh mountain water, it couldn't be better! The side salad with its own house dressing, I can only recommend it, very tasty. I only heard positive things at the tables next to me, and everyone's plates were empty. My waitress, very nice, on the ball, and despite the full place still time for a short small talk. Highly recommend a visit.

It was tasty and fast, food presented nicely. The card is very small, even more limited due to the coronavirus.

Very nice area, friendly service. I stayed there for 5 nights and felt comfortable throughout, very hospitable. Breakfast was good and there were delicious hot meals in the evening. Gladly again.

Delicious. The spinach dumplings, the sausage salad and the cheese spaetzle are really recommended! Nice service and nice outdoor spaces. Should we come to this area again, we will definitely stop here again.

Small card, but it makes my choice easier and perfect. We had spaghetti with cream mushrooms, mountain cheese and salad ... Huge portion at a really good price and it was delicious 🤤 The ladies and gentlemen in the service were also very friendly.

Friendly and quick service. I ate a cake I made myself, delicious. Reasonable prices, cake plus cyclists 7.40 €.

I had cheesecake with whipped cream, of course, and everything from the in-house pastry shop as it said on the outside. It was very tasty, only when they paid, they forgot me, but that was more because it was quite full and people ate it all, so the kitchen had to be good too. I'll try that another time. Otherwise, the service is very friendly and quick and that with the whole corona rules.

A place that is well attended due to the good location. We were on our bikes and got the last table outside. There are many conditions buzzing around and trying to do everything very quickly, you felt a bit rushed to do everything quickly. The cake was very good and tasty. Prices normal for an excursion restaurant.
